Call for Submissions

We invite researchers, policymakers, educators, Institutions and members of the general public who are interested in Nigerian and African History to contribute by submitting their abstracts, papers, and case studies.
Your submissions should align with the conference sub-themes and provide innovative insights, practical solutions, and actionable recommendations for the development of Nigerian and African History.

Submission Guidelines

• -Submissions must clearly state the narrative type, thematic focus, and relevance.
• -Include 150 words bio of presenter(s) and contact information.
• -Abstract length: 150-300 words.
• -Full paper limit: 5,000 words.
• -Submissions accepted in English or French.

Important Deadlines

• Abstract Submission Deadline:
  31st July, 2025
• Notification of Decision:
  By 31st August, 2025
• Full Paper Submission:
  By 28th September, 2025

Evaluation Criteria:

Submissions will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
-Relevance to the theme and sub-themes.
-Originality and innovation.
-Clarity of objectives and methodology.
-Practicality and applicability of recommendations.
-Contribution to the advancement of historical knowldege and scholarship in Africa.
